She also volunteered at Vickery Meadows Summer Reading Academy from 2015 to 2017, helping recent refugee students prepare for school. She then volunteered as a tutor at McShan Elementary School to continue her relationship with her students. She assisted with games, addressed effective turn-taking, taught conversation techniques, and provided guidance in starting friendships.
Morgan completed her internship at the inpatient program of Texas Health Behavioral Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, working with adults with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, and schizophrenia. She also completed an additional internship at the HOPE Child and Family Center of Texas, providing play therapy for children and group therapy for adolescents.

She works with parents as a team to help implement change in the child’s environment, including home and school. Morgan believes working with key figures in the child’s life is vital to instilling positive change. She works with children with anxiety, ADHD, autism, anger, and adjustment issues.
Morgan also works with adolescents and young adults entering or already in college. She helps with goal setting, time management, relationship issues, anxiety, and depression, along with finding purpose and direction in life. She strives to walk alongside her clients to help them overcome life’s obstacles through a professional partnership and learn more about themselves in a safe, non-judgmental, and caring environment. She recognizes that each client is unique and may require different therapeutic interventions. Morgan uses an eclectic approach, including Person-Centered, Existential, Cognitive Behavioral, and Play Therapy.
What's your favorite part of your job? Morgan feels it a great privilege to learn more about each individual and their unique life story. Licensed Psychological Associate, Texas # 39351
Jessica Faber, LPA
Qualifications: Jessica Faber, MA, LPA, is a Licensed Psychological Associate. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Minnesota in 2019. She thrives when working with children and adolescents, and seeks to empower her clients and their families. Jessica’s approach involves appreciating how diverse learning styles can influence the therapeutic process and tailoring sessions to the client’s needs.
Who do you work with? Regarding testing, Jessica is experienced in conducting psychological assessment across the lifespan for attentional difficulties and learning concerns, mood concerns, as well as autism spectrum evaluations for school-aged children, adolescents, and adults.
In terms of therapy, Jessica enjoys working with children (youngest 2 ½ years of age) and young adults. She particularly thrives when working with neurodivergent individuals navigating their life challenges and empowering individuals to overcome their anxiety. She also enjoys facilitating groups aimed towards young adults seeking to develop and implement their social skills.
How do you solve the problems your clients come with? Jessica’s approach centers on creating a safe space for her clients at every age and stage of their therapy journey. She believes in nurturing a strong therapeutic alliance to empower her clients. In addition to curating an array of skill-building sessions to meet client needs, Jessica balances skills development with providing emotional processing and support. This combines a person-centered approach while simultaneously drawing from a variety of evidence-based practices to serve families across a diverse range of backgrounds. Such practices include cognitive-behavioral therapy (including trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy), parent-child interaction therapy, and interpersonal therapy.
Jessica has experience working with a wide range of concerns, including (but not limited to) selective mutism, generalized and social anxiety, learning differences, challenges related to attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum, gender identity and expression, depression, suicidal ideation, and trauma across all ages.
When working with young children, Jessica believes that parents are the strongest influence and typically the first response available to their child’s needs. In pursuit of her client’s emotional well-being, Jessica recognizes the team involved and creates bridges of communication between care providers, children and their parents, and schools to maximize the support available to the child. In addition to activity-based therapy with the client, Jessica employs parent management training to equip parents with the skills needed to continue the therapeutic work outside the therapist’s office. Jessica aims to be a facilitator in strengthening child-caregiver attachment, as research shows this can play an invaluable role in promoting healthy child development.
What's your favorite part of your job? Earning her client’s trust and rewarding her client’s trust with consistent support plays a pivotal role in why Jessica is drawn to therapeutic work. She also appreciates the uniquely rewarding experience of lending her expertise to witness her clients manifest into stronger versions of themselves. She also loves hearing feedback on how her clients are experiencing their therapeutic journey and collaborating with them to create the optimal experience. Unofficially, Jessica loves the candor and sense of humor her clients bring to the therapy experience.
If you could tell your clients one thing to make their lives easier, what would it be? You can be your strongest, best advocate. Resilience is hard-won and it could be that you’re already a champion.
